Thanks to a generous Rennlister and his time, I now have the build sheet. Cool to know this car was as expensive as it was and at 8k miles it's still pretty much brand new so buying a 3 year old used one is a fairly good deal. Congrats, my search took about 4 months also. When you are looking for a 997tt you have to really want it. After a few failed attempts I wanted to stop looking for a tt but I kept at it and finally found one.

If you don't mind, what was your price out the door?

$116850 asking price at the Ferrari dealer.

Got it for $110k. They could have easily sold it for $115k but I pleaded a really convincing case and they acquiesced. Was very grateful for that since I could not afford one penny more and actually had a loose budget of $99999 (for a 2011 with MUCH HIGHER MILES if I could find a silver w/blk interior one but I couldn't in 4 months of relentless searching).

Goodies for the "new" car today...

Black on black TURBO S mat for the front trunk. It's all washed out in this pic but it's jet black on black.

LOVE this umbrella. Just wish it wasn't $82! Had to have it.

Mine is a 07 997tt 6 speed with 33k miles and 22 months CPO left. It recently had a major service and is nicely optioned with adapt sport seats, lsd, cf illuminated sills, etc. I got it for 70k + TTL. The clincher of the deal was that he bought my 03 M5 for a good price.

Steve, that's awesome! Your post resonated with me because I went through the same process. Ended up getting about the same car as you but from a private individual in Payson AZ. The car was flawless and only had 12k miles. Original plan was to drive it "occasionally" - that plan isn't working too well as I cant seem to stay out of it.
