Default Porsche World Roadshow - Boston

Just got back from the Porsche World Roadshow near Boston today at Gillette Stadium. I have to say this was an awesome experience. I drove there with a friend of mine in my 997.1 tt, and had the opportunity to drive a range of cars including the Cayman S, Cayman GTS, Carrera S, Carrera GTS, and Panameras. For this particular short course with its extensive turns the Cayman GTS really felt the most balanced. In the 911s you could feel the weight transfer in the rear. I have test driven the new 911s before and I felt the steering was a little "electronic" for me, but on the race course the steering really felt pretty good (and very easy to handle), but I still think my 997.1 has way more steering feel. I was also impressed by the PDK, it rev matched like a pro, and the gear changes were phenomenally fast.

Also met some fellow PCA / Rennlisters there which is always a pleasure.

Anyways enough talk here are some pictures:

The cars all lined up for the road course.

Panameras on the autocross course.

Finally, a hot lap back on the road course with the instructors in Panamera turbos. It was a ton of fun.
