Default Damptronic ecu swap.

Can you just swap a 997.1tt damtronic ecu for a 997.2 ecu and pic up a better ride? Or how about a GT2 for a more track system?

If they are electronically controlled and you take out the spring rate, logic says it should work. Assuming the new ecu is better than the previous .

Has anyone tried this?

Lots of letters here: TPC's DSC.

That is a great question and someone should try it out for sure. We know that TPC has their unit but this may also be a great alternative.

We have tried it years ago prior to the development of our DSC. Each model's unit has a unique string of codes that talks to the instrument cluster. By swapping units the codes won't match and will get a PASM communication fault and as a result other functions of the car will be disabled by factory programming default.
