Usually US customers are pampered regarding warranty duration, surprised to learn for CPO they aren't.
In Europe we have up to 10 years CPO warranty.

to CPO an 07 is PITA. Chris and I tried to do it with the car before i bought it but it almost requires an act of congress to get it done. One dealer i talked to sayd $3500 plus $500 fee to examine the car. But my 2 dealerships here couldn't figure out how to do it. i ended up buying Fidelity plat $100 deduct for $5400 6/60.

Fidelity is owned by Moran corp. he opened the first Toyota dealership in the country. Porsche accepts fidelity and it is very good. Fidelity does every auto. You must have gone to a Porsche dealer to buy it. Good price.

CPO - can be done here for 2 more years. Is it something I should seriously consider?

Dennis - to your comment on condition - The paint and interior is pretty much mint! No accidents.

There was a pca BBQ at a members cottage. Trip my salesman insisted I take the tt for the weekend - mmm so i did. Damn he has been more than accommodating.

To be honest it is not any easier to decide today than it was several days ago when this all started. Thinking out loud here - maybe I should just buy this car enjoy the hell out of it (for the love of god I'm sure it will be fine!!! )
in a few years if I am feeling it for the AWD TT, keep it. If not, go with a RWD GTS or similar.

I'm just worried I'm going to miss the more nimble steer of RWD 911 as a few of you have pointed out.

All the info is here to find.

But imo ideal set up for street use :

- drop (Eibach* and Bilstein B8)
- GT2 rear sway bar
- allignment close to GT3 spec (detailed info on the forum)

*GMG, Techart is also produced by Eibach.

I came from a C2 and the steering feel on the turbo is great in my opinion.

From your description the car sounds nice and the price seems fair for a low mileage example.

Good luck with your decision.

Soyboy, I got a Fidelity extended warranty, platinum, 6/60, $250 deductible for $3700 from Circle Porsche. Ask for Christine Takla - she used to be at Pacific Porsche. My new to me Porsche is a 2008 turbo with 18,800 miles. I believe your low mileage should get you a similar rate.

Agree should be in asking price for CPO. I'd hit 'em (if you want the car) with "IDK man this is kinda not what I'm looking for... really wanted red & this guy (me) has a highly optioned car for considerably less...nearly $10k & it's guards red! " Shhh... say no more.. if he says anything only thing to respond with is "well maybe if the numbers came together & I had the CPO we could do the deal tomorrow at $69k CPO. "

1st person to speak after a statement like this is the loser. most the time you can get a few thousand off they were keeping in there for profit.
