Update on DCT Steering wheel and some CF bits
Quick update on the new steering wheel install.
This was the DCT wheel after install with the OEM trim pieces. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...e753e5fc01.jpg Loved the wheel but the silver OEM inserts weren't working with the wheel for me. So ordered new CF inserts to match the OEM CF in the cabin. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...a8a7067bf6.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...f5f241e28f.jpg These match the OEM CF on my shifter, e-brake and center dash (cup holders etc). But there was still something missing, the silver finish on the door handles was now clashing with the new CF… soooooooooo https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...48d59504a4.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...a4c231b3f8.jpg Now we got everything working together LOL!! https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...382bbf9d05.jpg For me, this is the extent to which I would personally would go with CF accents in the car. As for the wheel, if you are in the market for a new wheel, and you like thick, fat wheels then the DCT wheel is a huge upgrade over stock. I absolutely love it. - Art |
