Question windshield fog?

Does anyone else have it? After it has rained or humid morning, my lower middle windshield will fog up on the outside requiring me to use the wiper to clear, even when it's not raining. It does it whether I have on the a/c, defroster or not. The inside of the windshield is not fog at all. When I look around at other cars, none of their windshields are foggy.

I assume you park your car outside overnight? you'll normally get fog on the exterior of the windshield when the glass is cold enough to condense the "warmer" humid air. Are you sure no other cars parked in the vicinity have condensation on the windshield? is your car in the shade and the other cars are parked in sunlight? if so that would explain the discrepancy.

My car lives in a nice garage except when I'm driving it. In only happens in the early morning or after a rain. It fogged up just this morning at 6am when I left the house on the way to the gym. It is limited to the bottom 1/3 of the center portion of the outside of the windshield. It's the strangest thing. No other car I have ever done has ever did this.

Mine fogs when I have the AC on but tilt-up the sunroof and/or open the windows partially. It causes a humidity imbalane and condensation, I guess, but I agree I've never experienced this in any other car.

Every P car I own does this because of the Florida Humidity.

It's because of the hot humid outside air and the cold temp you selected. If you just select the fwd only vent it will help.

I live in Florida too and the lower part of my 911 windshield fogs. I wonder why it doesn't happen in my other cars ?

I think the AC on auto mode spreads the air through the vent up front. When I manually select floor and forward vents only, it doesn't happen.

^^^Exactly, just change the vent setting from auto and it won't happen.
