Default 07 TT that sat a lot

I found an 07 TT at a Porsche dealer with 35K miles, but in the past 3 years it had only 600 miles put on it. Is this going to cause any major issues?

What kind of tests should I ask the dealer to perform? Leak down? How much does that typically cost if the dealer refuses to pay for it himself? Anything else?

You are going to get polar opposite responses here. So let me tell you what I know.

If you are really attracted to the car for the right reasons (options, color, price, etc) then you should have the car properly inspected (PPI) by another qualified tech ---- where are you located as we may be able to give you a referral.

PPI order:
1. DME readout; the pcar dealer should do this for free
2. Paint meter check; the pcar dealer should do this for you for free.
3. CarFax; the pcar dealer should do this for free.
4. Inspection (PPI) by a real good shop.

Proceed to 4 if 1-3 are ok!

The pcar dealer should / can CPO this car?
You should plan on new tires, all fluid change and plugs.

IMHO; unless the car was sitting outside or in a misty/humid garage and it was not stored properly then it will be ok.

Well it's always been said that turbocharged cars do NOT like to sit but I don't think these cars are old enough yet where it would be a big problem. What IGOOZ said is spot on.

My car got 800 miles put on last year. Maybe that's why half the engine is sitting in my garage! Fixing the coolant leak as I write. Awaiting some parts. In the process I am changing plugs, changing hoses, checking clutch, cleaned intercoolers etc. I might start a thread on here once I am done. Taken about 50 pictures so far.

x2, now if the car had 500 miles on it, that's something I would be concerned about.

My 2007 turbo has 5000 miles total and 4000 of those were on it when I bought it when it was 16 months old. Change fluids regularly, no issues, at all. Have a turbocharged rotary, 1990, bought new, has under 10,000 miles. Start it every 3 to 4 weeks for the rotor's sake, again no issues.

The 328 is a different story, if you don't drive them, they tend to "sweat" (read, leak oil). If driven once a week, there isn't a drip in sight.
