07 Turbo price

At this point I would have expected prices to be listed for $65-$70K on average for 07 Turbos, but most are in the $75K+ range. this is definitely a surprise to most. This could partly be do to folks who delayed their purchase until after the 991 TT launch hoping to take advantage of dropping 997.1TT prices. When this "price drop" didn't materialize there was a bolus of built up demand that was unleashed earlier this year that has since help support prices.

Got great deal last yr on 07 997.1TT Tip. Watched it go from $79k to $63k on CL over a 3 month period from Jan-Mar 2013 & jumped on it. Paid $61.7k in 3/13, 19k miles, one owner, cobalt blue, nice CF options, SC with 2 yr CPO at Honolulu dealer. Spoke with previous owner who got $60k in trade- got all svc records, etc. Fabulous car- Love it even though i'd have preferred 6sp.

Agreed. This week, an '09 with 5k miles for $90 was sold in 2 days locally to me. Seems like these are quietly being snapped up.

It seems that demand for the last of the manual mezger Turbos is pretty strong at the moment, especially for lower mileage quality examples. And supply of quality cars will only go down over time. Will be an interesting case study in terms of what happens over the next few years.

As much as I love air cooled 911s, owned several in the past including a 930, they cannot compare to the 997 TT in some areas. With prices of 930s skyrocketing into the 60+ range I think people are looking at what else is a special Porsche. The high GT3 prices are also helping.
As I stated in other posts the manual mezger has enough real 911 feel and is not to numb like the 991. These are special cars that are getting noticed for the value for the money. I don't plan on selling mine anytime soon.

I sold my flawless 07, PCCB, 6MT, Guards Red with 13k miles a couple months ago for $80k. I really regret not holding out for more. The TT is by far the best value in the sports car market IMO, and the best car I've ever owned. The only reason I sold mine is to buy an 09 and keep it. Unfortunately I have a feeling that my very specific option requirements will cause it to be a couple year search. First world problems.

Are cab TT's really that much less desirable than Coupes?, I have always been a die hard Coupe fan and currently own a 40th 996. Looking at a 997TT soon and fancy a cab just to enjoy the summers with the family a bit more.
Any views on cab vs coupe
