Did the 2008's come delivered with 3 keys (2 full function keys and a valet key) or just the 2 full function keys?

They all come with the 2 function keys + 1 valet key.

Did you purchase new or used? The reason I ask is I'm in the process of purchasing a CPO and the dealer (salesman) is saying at some point Porsche stopped delivering the cars with valet keys (he admits he's not sure when).

If the 08's came with a valet key, I want him to cut me a new key.

Hmm, haven't heard of that. My 07 has the valet key along with the other 2.

edit, I seem to recall them stopping the valet key thing in my08, so yours may not have one.

My '06 C2S came with a valet key but when I bought my '09 Turbo from the orginal owner he said he never got one...

Ditto...two new 997 pcars from one dealer and zero valet keys. Maybe the dealer has a valet key fettish?

From MY 2008 on no valet key anymore.
If you absolutely want a valet key you have to find a 2007 ; -)

i have a 09 turbo, and i only have the 2 full function keys, no valet keys...

'08 Turbo here...2 original keys, no valet was provided....granted, I did purchase this car used from a Porsche dealer so it's possible that it may have never been turned in.

I kept my old valet from my original 997tt, in case I ever get drunk and want to jack it....
