TranzIt BLU HF Install in a 997.1TT - PCM 2.1

I have a 2007 997.1 Turbo. Currently, the car does not have bluetooth capability. My interior is apart for other reasons at the moment. Any reason I should not install this TranzIt BLU HF unit while the interior is apart? All I am after is #1: bluetooth for music streaming (Pandora), and secondary would be hands free phone calls.

It works well, I think you should go for it. It's super easy to install. Sound quality is OK, worse than CD but better than radio. I don't think it works very well for hands-free calls though. I still put my Airpods in my ear when I get a call

I got the Mr12volt bluetooth module from ebay in my 997.1 It works great. Fully integrates with the factory fiberoptic system. Calls are great and music is perfect. Cost 120 USD.

Although the mr12volt, and other MOST (fiber optic) compatible systems are great ideas, if you don’t already have a cd changer, then you have to go to the dealership to have them reprogram your pcm before it will work.
