I had a 2006 M3 SMG for about 6 months, couldn't stand the way it shifted and sounded.. Like something is wrong with the car.. On my second p turbo and never looking back. Apples and Oranges, can't even compare bmw and Porsche.

I AGREE 100% BUY, DRIVE, PERFORM MAINTENANCE...stop wasting time working the numbers...no one ever wrote on a tomb stone... "Wish I had less my miles on my 997 TT"
...forget the numbers and start driving. We all love to play financial advisors here but in the end it will be you who will have to live with your decision. Your kids will be happy to see you enjoying your hard earned money

I've been a car guy ....
... my whole life. Started with a 1971 Dodge Charger in a High School. A 5.0 in college. I've had Audi Quattros, a 300 ZX, a G35 coupe and there's a '69 Mustang project in the garage. I bought my 2007 TT three months ago. It's my dream car. Fastest thing I've ever driven. Tried to keep the miles off it but I just can't. Driving it changes my outlook, my attitude for the day. I wouldn't have it any other way.
