Gorgeous car, enjoy it. Also VERY spot on with your observations. MK1 (pre 09+) cars are just in that period where they are lacking today's comfort creature items. However, as a nerd, I prefer the GT1 block to myself.

Looks very nice -- thinking of going to a 997.2tt myself. Owned a 996tt, now a 2014 981cs. I love the sound (PSE), love the PDK (I know not everyone does) and now miss the torque only a tt can provide.
I'm afraid I might miss some of the creature comforts, but honestly I've not seen one of these up close. Thank you for the write up. To me it is very helpful!

man what an addition! Congrats and enjoy in good health she's beautiful and glad to see your family loves it as well. I have a hit list of friends that still want a ride in mine. These cars are amazing and if you get your family hooked it will be even more of a lifetime of enjoyment. Have fun and enjoy! looks great
