Don't mean to derail this thread but how does one register revs past the electronic limiter?

Does that only happen in cases of poor/missed downshifts or is it actually possible to register range 2+ by running hard into the limiter (eg full throttling it in first gear all the way into the limiter)?

Would like some clarification. TIA!

Yes to all. if you have a bad miss shift you'll obviously register an over rev. If you hit the rev limiter hard in gear or in neutral you'll get over revs. Tunes with higher rev limiters around 7000 or 7200 will also register over revs.
