this is a clone of the one above - the price spread seems accurate from a dealer/ someone who may have been floated a trade number. IDK> always have to call and see if the private party is real or a clown.

First car has 6 owners, wow. Plus it's modded, I'd pass. How do you drop 100k on fabspeed and a no name tune, off brand rims?
The second one seems like a gem.

TT Surgeon- I agree with your statement.

So #2 is the one that needs to be targeted.

I really like the adaptive sport seats on #2 and the seat backs being painted - I'm sold.

What's a good number on this car?I could check in the morning & see what the auction cars are bringing. As you mentioned this is an above avg example. I'm sure they have under $80k - may trade around that number.

estrellajon- what do you think of #2?

I think 80 on that car, night and day better than 1.

I know what you are saying about Sea Blue being very dark. idk It was a bright room inside.

I think if this car ticks the boxes the price is pretty good considering mileage & options- it's how low can you get a car you really want? I agree - perhaps you could push them a little farther- maybe not. depends how deep they are in the vehicle.

"Look I got $76k if it passes a general PPI I'll take it no worries. It has to have the major service probably, which is $2k.-tires.. blah blah...the sales mgr will just want to sell it -he will be thinking oh lord what am I in... "

Macon is easy to get to with Delta hub @ ATL. Porsche Driving School is close as well!

#2 isn't bad but I only see the adaptive seats as the option. Red stitching is nice. Is that price average?

I just bought my Turbo last weekend but originally tried to work a deal on the black one in Macon (#2). They would not budge on the price. I offered 80 and they would not take it. A couple of more weeks and they might.

Thanks for the feedback-

I'd say their number is fair considering mileage and options. Fair = they'll probably get what they are asking- Although I'm sure they will work with someone- like DMOSES said everyone is going to make all the money on "that car" until they don't & need to move it along.

It's important to go straight to the mgr though IMO. You may get lucky & get someone good or you just end up with sales trash & this is coming from someone looking to take over a exotic store.

I actually went all the way to the top. A good friend of mine has a personal relationship with the owners of the dealership and they would not budge. The margin must be really close on that car. See what you can do though because it is a very nice car!

word. I don't think it's priced high IMO. Dealerships are known to step way into something to make a deal happen. Generally, that's why its on their lot & not wholesaled down the road to a franchise store.

I put it like this- I'm not giving my car away & it's an 07 w/ 37k miles. I could probably get mid $70ks - 1 model yr newer (although we are now some yrs removed from a steep depreciation curve)- the differences in 1 model yr is much smaller.

add $10k for a special deviated stitched/ seat painted- hard loaded/ low mileage car. I think thats a fair price.

On the used mkt on select highly optioned vehicles IMO the seller has the upper hand if they know what they have. sounds like these guys "think" they have something... IDK I wouldn't lose my religion. I saw a RUF turbo floating around perhaps then or a PTS Polar Silver/ something really rare and special- ok. Extra leather to sample stuff-

TTSurgeon said- $80k is a good number. so you pay $5k more... for a baby 8-9k mile car. worse things happen around me all day long

Don't know why this car is listed on ebay but I bought it last weekend for 80K. Very comparable to the car in Macon I believe

Hey guys, first time poster on rennlist, Im actually in the market for a 997.1 turbo myself, but its really hard trying to find the right one since im not too sure of the options I should look for or what will be a good price for a right turbo... but if you guys can help me find the right one, thatll be great... im actually looking for a 2009 turbo, in either white, black, or gray, with full black interior, it has to have 6 speed, adaptive sport seats, sport chrono pack, rear LSD, and hopefully the carbon package as well... it has to be lower then 20k miles, and my budget is around 90k. If there is a 08 with all the right packages, below my wanted miles and for a good price, ill also consider it. thanks guys in advance and hopefully I can hop into a turbo real soon!

Man, you killed it!
Awesome deal. Add black mats and a black shifter boot.

Yea I just don't know why Porsche doesn't do more 2 tone in these cars it really breaks up the interior better.
