Default 2007 Turbo Maintenance Items

I found a 07 Turbo, manual with 42K miles. Supposed it's been cared for properly (I'll do PPI), will I be looking at any big ticket items for the next 2 years? I plan to drive about 3000 miles per year. No track use.

I am presenting this car to my wife as an investment, which will not depreciate like our other cars but would actually gain value. Don't laugh :-)

Thanks!

I think this applies to 2007 as well.

That is a brilliant move! And may I be the first to inform you that this trick has been tried before and that the lovely wife will see right through it! Dark chocolate also helps...

Counting on appreciation with a Turbo is just setting you up for failure with the wife. I agree the cars are relatively price protected, but they still cost money, not the other way around. I'd be lying if I said I didn't take the lower rate of depreciation into account when I bought my car, but that just decreases the overall cost of ownership in the long run.

I love my wife very much, but I'll never understand this "if my Wife lets me" sentiment.......maybe I'm just lucky?

Sam here. I didn't tell my other half I was buying one. Just got home and asked her to come help with the groceries...

funny. Your looking at 2k if it hasn't had the major. 1,750ish on tires. that'll be it. if just oil changes $400 at the top end of range.
