I loved them....breaks up the dark tires and dark wheels. I can take them out anytime i get tired of looking at them.

That looks sweet. Black wheels just look weird on their own IMO. Little pinstripe goes a long way.

I like the look. I've been trying to decide what to do with my wheels--my '07TT is also guards. My wheels are deep-dish, three-piece, and I'm considering two avenues:

1) Your way--all black with a red stripe; or

2) Black centers with a polished rim.

Leaning toward the latter because of my deep dish. Either way, the point is to break up the black. Now I just have to find someone who paints wheels in my area.
