Which would you choose?

Burning Brakes
I called the delaer back and asked for the total # of hours and ign details at those error points - they tell me that this was not recorded during the PPI.
The service rep did say that given Range 5 and 6 have been detected, it is not a good thing "motor has definitely been abised". If I was to come in for a CPO repair related to the motor, it would likely not be covered due to the Range 5 and 6 that are noted.
Im walking form this one.

add to that, that the service rep is saying porsche won't cover warranty repairs for the motor due to the range 6 and it's a no brainer to walk
with that aside, they should be able to see the exact details of # of ignitions, last time each range occurred and hrs since last recorded over rev very simply when they plug in their PIWIS. I think it takes them 30 seconds to plug into the port pull it up so they should do that for you upon request.

07_RS4, I have always commented here as if this was the car that I was buying for myself...
So I would walk from a Range 6 for sure! I personally don't care if it was done a long time ago. I know that these motors are bullet proof, and I am sure that the dealer would still warranty anything despite the fact that they sounded cold...
But you are being a premium car for a lot of money, and your first pcar, and therefore you deserve the best! There are virgin cars out there...
Q: I don't know my exchange rates...what is your US price on a TT and list what are some of the things that you are looking for? We can start thinking...

range 6 is definitely a bad mis-shift resulting in 8.5K or 9K revs if I'm not mistaken

Appreciate the feedback. Def walking on this one.

Current exchange rate is approx. 3%. That said, I need to find a car in and around the $69-$70K USD range. By the time I bring it over with converstion, import fee 6.1%, delivery, RIV, plates etc. im at around the $77K to $79K CDN +/-
Here is my "wish list" for my ideal 997TT - very simple:
- '07 or '08 (likely '07 given my price range)
- Under 40K miles
- Black on Black
- 6-speed
Anything else the car may come with would be a bonus IE: Adaptive seats, PCCB's etc.
Here is the one I have my sites set on at the moment. It's a private sale and I have 2 Rennlister's that are willing to go check it out for me in person already:

If you do come across something worthwhile sharing, please do!
Again, I appreciate everyone's help with this. Best group of car enthusiasts I have ever dealt with - you guys are all very helpful!

The Porsche crest in headrests is indeed a cool option - one of those "bonus" items for me.
