Default My new 997tt : Ready for debut

I purchased a '08 tt from a dealer in OH about a month ago (sight unseen). Unfortunately, the visual condition of the car was not nearly as nice as the dealer made it out to be when the car finally got to me.

So I've spent the last month polishing it up, replacing several bits here and there and just basically bringing it back to as new condition as possible.

I finally got the car back last week and thought I'd share a few pics.

I've spent the last 2 years, on and off, looking for the right 997tt and I'm so happy I waited.

Miles are a bit higher than I wanted at 38k but it's CPO, has the cleanest DME I've ever seen (range 1 and 2 only) and the car has every single option I wanted except for lock out diff.

Other than the OEM SSK I added, the car is bone stock. I'm going to order Europipe from Stef in a few weeks.

GT silver/Nat brown was a must have for me.

@DJ23 - looking fwd to meeting you in Danbury soon.

Looks great !!!

Nat. Brown is superb. The nicest int. color by far.

And although I have the dectane lights sometimes I feel putting the red ones back the car came with.

Thx for the replies gents. There are a few bits left to do but I'm almost there.

@bluecrab - I bought all the trim pieces from Suncoast and Sunset and had my dealer here in CT do all the work.

My RO was 8 pages long. I'll list all the things I replaced if anyone cares. My dealer thought I was crazy at first but now that the work is done, they see why I did it. Thankfully the interior was almost perfect on this car to begin with. Only had to touch up a few knicks made from the seatbelt.

Basically any trim piece that could be easily changed out got replaced.

Last step is a good wet sanding/paint correction to get rid of a few slightly etched water spots. Anyone have recommends for the best body shop to do that work here in Southern CT?
