Default What wheels have the largest "lip"?

Looking for a large offset lip for the rear wheels. The Champion RS98s seem to be a good bet but schnikeys that's expensive!

Any suggestions??

I think there are a couple of sets over on the 6 in the fs section.

Lip is a function of offset. Also spoke shape. Real lip you can do a 12+45 which on a low pad center means 4" outer and 8" inner barrel. If you had a curved spoke you could push that to 5" outer and 7" inner. Flat lips will look bigger than step lips. Also brushed lips look bigger than polished. Any custom wheel company can set this up for you. Our rears even with PCCB have very thick hubs (internal parking brake) so we can't get massive lips like some other cars. On my G35 I ran 7" lips in the rear without any rubbing or excessive camber because of the vehicles natural offset.

I wouldn't go too crazy with turbo. Decrease front lip by increasing pad height and then max rear to a 4" outer and you'll be looking good.

Fwiw flat lips mean sensors have to be mounted oddly inside the drop center. Most times they will shatter because drop center on a flat lip is on inside and camber makes that side of tire compress more. Step lips you can drill the valve stem hole out and install oem TPMs directly like stock.

Anything smaller than a 1.5" outer is an inverted outer which means micro stems needed so TPMs won't work. Unless you mount inside barrel again in drop center which rarely lasts.

(Used to distribute hundreds of sets of custom wheels

These wheels from 360 forged look like they have a pretty deep lip.

OP, if u wanna talk wheels in detail just PM or email me... i'll walk you thru it... lot of brands can do various lip sizes.. you just need a 3 piece wheel.. downside for TT is the front brake clearance.. but that can be easily resolved.

^Agreed... Riley is the man when it comes to wheels and lips. I remember him from the s2000 days and he was always pushing the limit

in my view lips on 19s make them look smaller. Look at the pic of the black porsche, that is more balanced than the one of the OP but that is a 20 inch wheel with whatever consequences on ride quality...
