That's because these pics were taking during the time they were cutting the limbs off to get to the Driver and get him/her out. It would have looked completely covered up had they taken pics without cutting off all of the excess prior to what you see here.
Here is a little different view for you. Audi was parked, Turbo was driving down the road at the time, unfortunately. Yes, branches were trimmed to get the driver out after the incident.
