email him directly at: fish123@speedstersource.com
and let him know a fellow 6speed.com member sent you his way. the crystal clear lights are probably the ones you want so be sure to mention that in your email, and the smoked ones are shown in the ad above. total shipped in CA is $550

FYI, to be 100% clear I am not vouching for or recommending this seller. I totally went by the experience of one other person I met, read his reviews on ebay and 6speed and thought his price was right. Please do your own DD before buying from Simon (fish123)

Good luck

Dang it, browsing this forum is expensive. Just ordered a set, thanks Art! (he was lightning fast in responding, literally about 3 minutes from the time I emailed him)

Question - on Simon's website it states:

2005-2008 PORSCHE 911 (997 CHASSIS)
CARRERA / CARRERA 4 / CARRERA S / GT2 / GT3 / GT3 RS /
TARGA 4 / TARGA 4S / DOES NOT FIT ON TURBO!!
ALL MODELS EXCEPT MODELS W/ FACTORY LED TAIL LIGHTS
TRUE 2009+ LOOK RED / SMOKE
REAR LED TAIL LIGHTS SET
(2 PIECES, LEFT + RIGHT)

These guys same the same - looks like a wide body issue: http://carlightpro.com/911-996/

Anyone have any trouble or is this incorrect? Are the Turbo tail lights any different?

Joel

best to email him directly and provide your car details as well as the lights you want. I've had the lights for a few weeks without any errors (use the resistors). the final test will come when I wash the car and confirm no fogging, leaking or light failure

Put my Depo lights in today. Thanks much to the members that pointed me at "fishcake321"

They look great and function perfectly.

Ugh, I'm having an issue with my lights. As soon as I start the car and turn on the lights, they're fine for about 15-30 seconds, and then the right taililght shuts off. I get an error message, "Check right tail light"

Same error as this guy:

any ideas? Haven't heard back from the vendor.

check the wiring on the back, connection could be loose. When I installed my right light it didn't light up and gave the error check light, when I opened it back up I noticed the brake lights connection was completely off, plugged it back in and it all worked fine. Yours may just be a little loose so just give all the wires a firm push and report back on what happens

Thanks for the reply!

I checked all the wiring, I swapped resistor packs, I removed the resistor packs.

The concerning thing is that same as the video, the lights all come on, but then the error pops up and the tail light goes out. Brake lights, turn signals and reverse lights all work as expected.

Now we get to see how responsive Simon (fish) really is. Hope he takes care of this ASAP or he's going to quickly get a bad rep on this board. Keep us in the loop, hope you get a replacement asap

Fish never responded.

(well, to be fair, it's only been a few hours)

But, the problem seems to have gone away. I turned on the rear fog light (!!!) and the issue went away. I'm perplexed as to why this would fix it, but the error code is gone and the light is staying on. Cautiously optimistic. (I found reference to this on another forum where a member had removed their rear lights and the error code stayed... apparently the rear fog light coming on completes the bulb check routine.) We'll see if this is actually a fix!
