TT tire pressures... Cab vs Coupe
This question has been covered in other forums but for a quick answer what's everybody running for tire pressures on their TT's.
Cab vs, coupe?
I've seen in a message thread 33 / 39 for a C2S cab but the TT is 500# heavier.
Accuracy of the TPM?
Thanks in advance.

33/39 is the recommened pressure for partial load and I believe 36/44 is full load(check the label on your door). I run 35/41 since I'm on 20's. TPMS is typically accurate within +/- 1

unless batteries start dying. Then it loses accuracy.
TPMS is not an accurate piece of kit, it is indicative in my view. The expensive analogue gauge of the tire place is better. And that should be the benchmark. If he measures 33 39 and you see 34 40 then you know you are 1 over. Remember that, and you will have an idea. TPMS is an indication of pressure to protect your tires and rims from too low, or a flat.

Tx guys. I'll check it out. Just out of the tire shop where they raised the pressures and now it feels more on rails and pulls to the left. Not sure if the pull has to do with the pressures, just may be coincidental. Irritating. Time for a wheel alignment perhaps. I'll try dropping and guaging the pressures to 33 / 39 first.

I drive 30 psi front 37 psi rear, with the yellow warning ON ALL the time.
lower tire pressures make the 997 TT softer on rough roads. If I were to drive on perfect track and highways I would stick to manufacturer's pressure ratings. But roads are not that perfect...

33/39 Cab cold pressure
Always partial load, never much and hardly ever a passenger.
I actually ran lower than this for a while, but got some TPMS crap messages so I boosted it based on ADias posting on pressures vs temp vs load.
Recognize that the reco's from the factory are full load. So back it down unless you are hauling a rider and goods.

I run 36F and 39R cold and my TPMS always shows 2lbs below the hand gage. I think Porsche does this on purpose to make sure we have enough air in the tires. Just like the speedo shows 2-3mph faster than actual.
