Hey guys,
The first thing I did when I received my .2 coolers was measure the hose ends going into the cooler. I bought my set used so it came with 997.2 hoses (2010 model I believe). While the routing of each hose I measured was slightly different due to turbo location changes, the hose ends going into the coolers were identical for the 996tt, 997.1tt and 997.2tt. I too felt the slack on the inlet tank that Reuben is talking about but a leak free pressure check to ~1.8 bar of the hose/cooler assembly while tugging back and forth on the hoses convinced me that it would be ok for my needs. I know a few have blown hoses out of the inlet tank but as far as I know, they were running agency power hose ends. A ring of felt and a tighter c-clip seems like a more robust solution and the added peace of mind certainly doesn't hurt.

Note: This was with part numbers 997.110.639.70 & 997.110.640.70 -as I understand it, there is a new part number out which may be different.

Happy boosting!

I know this is an older thread, but i'd like to get some feedback from 997.1tt owners that have these on their cars.
