Wow, my new 2010 Turbo has finally arrived.
O.k. guys my new baby has finally arrived. Drove down to the Danbury Porsche Dealership and finally had an opportunity to see my new car tonight. She is fresh off the truck, not yet detailed as the tech is hard at work installing the accessories that I have for him. Already installed are the clear side markers, speed yellow “Turbo” insignia, and Iforged Seneka wheels with Michelin PS’2 tires. My car originally came with Bridgestones that I will save for DE events or autocross. Still to be installed are the Porsche pedal set, custom Lloyd mats, speed yellow ignition rosette, and Escort 9500 CI radar-laser detector. She looks great. I can’t believe that I have a Turbo Porsche. The only part of the order that didn’t go as planned were the speed yellow instrument dials. If you followed my posts you will remember that initially Germany said that they couldn’t install the speed yellow dials that I ordered. So I was fine with that. Except that my car came with a single speed yellow sport chrono dial. Danbury Porsche is ordering new speed yellow instrument dials and is installing at no additional cost. It was what I originally wanted, but not the way I planned it. What can you do? It’s not bumming me out in the least. She still drives the same. So aside from that, all is well and I will take more pics outside, and of the interior when she is all cleaned up. Believe me I’ve waited so long that I will take enough pics to satisfy everyone. So here are a few from tonight’s visit.
