This would be the ultimate dream... I posted my 993TT for sale about 4 days ago, and I have been bombarded with emails and PM's already... I so wish I could keep it.... my pockets are not deep enough... yet

Keep your 993TT and buy another 997TT at half of what it costs now in 4 years time.

I thnk to most of us Porsche Lovers the 993 Turbo is the holy grail and nothing will ever quite replace it.

I would love a 993 turbo with low miles for a good price but so would everyone.

It's still a beauty and a tank.

If a nice one came along and I was in the right mood I d have two turbos.

When I see a nice one at a car meet or show I just have this special feeling for it. you all know what i am trying to say!!

I hear ya cabman - one of these days I'll have a 993TT in the garage, maybe to replace the 964. Not sure if Porsche will ever build a better looking car.

I can remember when I went to pick up my 993 at Tischers in MD that they had just received a new 993 Turbo and it was outside. It was way beyond my reach coming from new vettes for $30K. It was about $115,000 out the door, NO WAY.

So it took me years to catch up to beable to afford and be comfortable with the turbo. When I got the 996 in 2003 the Cab Turbos just came out and they were very pricey and again I wasnt there. I remember seeing one at HBL in Tysons Corner and wondering if I should have sprung for it.

But in 2007 it was time and I was ready to have some fun and not think about resale value. I bought the 997 TT for fun and its great and if I get $50,000 for it, so be it. It was not bought with appreciation in mind.

The new V10 R8 is gnawing at me lately. I hope it goes away quickly, LOL

There seems to be no end to our wants and desires in life.
