Default Switzer Sledgehammer - 850 rwhp dyno video

hi guys, just got done taking my Switzer Sledgehammer for a drive at 1.65 bar of boost (850 rwhp). all i can say is holy moly god almighty. this is one badazz ****. the car literally started to drift in to the other lane in 3rd and 4th gear as the awd system tried to lay down the power. this is by far the fastest 997 turbo i have ever driven. needless to say, it put a grin on my face from ear to ear. enjoy the video ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jLsbjgbJkI

Is that an AWD dyno or are you running a RWD conversion? Just curious as I didn't see the front wheels move.

it is an 4 wheel dynojet. however, the car is being dynoed in rwd.

I thought that was dangerous on these awd 997 turbos, doesn't it screw up the front differential or something?

no. it will screw up the front differential if you don't pull out the drive shaft on a dynojet.

suprisingly the drivability is very good. this is the first car that actually scared me alittle bit when i hit the gas. its just crazy when at WOT. makes the Carrera GT and the GT2 feel like amatuer hour!

Undeniably amazing acceleration 60 to 130mph....

The 5 second dyno run does not bode well for the performance above 150mph, the next ~15+seconds this thing runs at full load to reach ~190mph are an unknown I guess ?

In Europe the biggest weak point in these cars is the gearbox which is proving very fragile with torque much over 800NM due to the shear spread of the torque - flat out at 3000rpm in 6th to 7000rpm is killing the boxes....
