Default Battery

Any downside to disconnecting the battery? I've got a little systems glitch after a clear bra installer removed and replaced my headlights, turning the key on while they were out, all kinds of error lites.

I would bring it into the dealership ASAP before something larger comes of it. You never know what they did and what affects it may have down the road. They worst think is the engine may cut out when driving at 90MPH and you may lose vacuum pressure to the brakes or ??????? I am very cautious about my car since I like to drive it fast.

disconnect both cables, then touch the two cables together to ground out the ECU. Should reset everything. Drive about 10 minutes then and all the lights should disappear

I was there when they did it, but they are a very reputable place.
Thanks Lou, I'm going to try that now, hope I don't lose all my presets.

I had a dead battery due to a radar detector. I regained power by jumping the fuse box and popping the hood to jump the battery. Had a few check engine codes but went away after a 10 min drive.
