Default PSI Boost ?

How many PSI does everybody see in 1st/2nd/3rd?

I have a tip and see:

1st 13psi
2nd 14 psi
3rd 15 psi (dipping to 13 psi @ 5k rpm)

I have sport chrono and an ECU mod...I think the car is off. Should I not be seeing 17/18 in these gears?

I have a manual and I never have time to look at the boost gauge in first, second and even third, but I can tell you that in 5th and 6th at full throttle and before any mods, my car always boosted 14 psi without sport mode and 18 psi with sport mode, up to 4000 rpm or so.
The mods changed the length of time these numbers are sustained and now with ecu and exhaust, it boosts 15 psi and 18 psi respectively (all the way to redline).

Did you notice much of a difference in 1st/2nd after your mods?

I don't know if you mean difference in boost only, but in performance there is a huge difference after the mods. I do have a Protomotive program which is very aggressive with a redline of 7300. In stock form it is very difficult to keep an eye at the gauge in first, because the boost is supposed to peak between 2 and 4 krpm and then it drops, that takes a fraction of a second to happen. Even in 2nd and third, the car doesn't spend much time between 2 and 4krpm.
With my program, the peak boost period is extended to redline instead of going back to baseline at 4krpm like the stock car does.
I will try to get some boost numbers for you in first and second and will get back to you, I never really noticed the numbers in low gears because now the accleration is so brutal you have to really concentrate on the road and the redline.

I used your last post as an excuse to take the car out tonight, again.
Here you go:

Temp: 57 F
Octane: 93 (91/105 mix)

Sport mode OFF:

1st gear: 16 psi from about 2000 till 7300 rpm
2nd gear: 16 psi from about 2000 till 7300 rpm
3rd gear: 16 psi from about 2000 till 7300 rpm

Sport mode ON:

1st gear: 18 psi from about 2000 till 7300 rpm
2nd gear: 18 psi from 2000 till 7300 rpm
3rd gear: 18 psi from 2000 till 7300 rpm

The car seems to be running particularly well tonight, maybe it is the cool weather.
What ecu tune do you have?

Those are the numbers I was expecting from mine. I have the FVD, which was supposed to be top of the line. I really think something happened on the install - my redline was supposed to be extended to 7,250 and it still shifts at stock. If the dealer can't figure it out, I will go back to stock and give your vendor a call.

Thx a bunch for the info.

Who should I contact at PM? I want to see if they have a package for a tip. Thx.

I don't know if Protomotive has a program for the TIP but it doesn't hurt to ask. I 'll send you a pm with the info needed.
Good luck.
