Fabspeed 997TT exhaust systems
Many thanks to all of you that are using the fabspeed systems and the great feedback we are getting.
there are quite a few setups you can run, depending on your performance levels and use of the car.
1: Fabspeed Maxflo 2 muffler system with 200 cell race cats
2: Fabspeed dual quad tips
3: Fabspeed Headers
4: Muffler bypass pipes with 200 cell race cats
5: full straight pipes that eliminate cats and mufflers (track use)
We can build you any setup you'd like.
The 997 stock exhaust is just too quiet and restricting from the factory. With any fabspeed setup the car really wakes up and sounds like it should.
All Parts are built of T304 stainless and polished to a mirror shine. If you haven't seen our parts, try to. They not only make great power and sound, but they are the best looking systems around.
All parts are in stock. We ship internationally as well.
Just a few example pics of the exhaust on and off of a car.
Please contact us for pricing or email call to figure out which system will fit your needs

Looks great, I would like to see some dyno information ---- although that have been from Imagine Auto, posted earlier, about the Fabspeed MaxFlo.
Everyone seems to be mesmerized by the sound. Who gives a f*ck! If you have raced in any kind of professional fashion, why would you want that driving around town? With straight pipes or headers at the track, I even feel that it is too loud.
Reduce weight, and increase reliability, and you guys seem to have accomplished that. i remember hanging around with Joe at Summit point sometime around 1994-95.
Take care!

I agree with rsa333, open headers are a bit much(juvenile) on the street or the Doctors parking lot for that matter, but I would like a bit more sound. I don't want a '68 Nova with open headers or a vacuum cleaner either.
Why not offer a cat and muffler rennlist only special, I mean the brother-in-law deal, not just the list price?
I'd bite today, before I even get the freakin' car.

I just ordered the Fabspeed exhaust and headers today. I am going to pass on the quad tips as they are for show only. I am a little surprised by the acceptance of the non-functional quad tips by this crowd. They are a little like the solid air scoops on the hoods of a Trans-Am or Cobra. They look nice but serve no function. Just my two cents.

Important questions: Can just the muffler go on the 2007 tt without tearing off the entire bumper??What kind of HP is gained with just the muffler change? Seems like all your ads, provide HP with changing the headers and all other piping.

John,
If you have a good installer then it won't be a problem taking the rear bumper off. I watched the technician at my local dealership work on my car and removing the rear bumper isn't as involved as you think. I'm not even sure how the folks at ImagineAuto managed to install the exhaust system without removing the bumper. Seems like there'd be a greater chance of nicking things if you left the bumper in place.

Not really. As long as you know how to angle it and pull the tips out and off then the unit rotates and it slides out. Then again I don't have issues with changing injectors in a new 996/997 either without dropping the motor. Read:you can not see them. All by feel.
As far as pulling the bumper off. It is easier than me trying to exlpain how to do it the other way. However is it about 12 screws and thats it. It pulls right off. The bumperetts stay with the bumper, one line and you are home free....simple simple.
