Buyer's Remorse
Ok here it goes,
Just got my new Targa 4s....
Kind of kicking myself in the butt now......
Because i really want a Turbo!!
If i place a order now,, should have it in several months??(I think)
How much $$ would I lose on the Targa when i would trade for the TT?
Man my wife is gonna kill me!!!!!!!!!!!

Lost dollars depends on how you bought it in the first place. Assuming you paid sticker, you're going to lose at least 15% I would think.

Give it some time...the Targa is sweet...throw an aero kit on it.

Put your car on the "swapalease" site and maybe you can find someone to take over the payments. Porsche will allow a person to take the payments over as long as their credit is good. Hopefully your lease term wasn't too long. Offer some sort of incentive. I just had someone take over my 06 M5 lease and all it took for me was one months free lease payment to the buyer, however, I only had 10 months left on my lease term. The shorter the lease, the more attractive and easier it will be for you to find someone for your car.
Good Luck!

I think you're still resposible if the guy who assumes the lease flakes/misses pymnt etc. I thought you bought the car, leases are a bit harder to get out of, and not get hosed.

Most car companies will allow complete take over. BMW financial was the lien holder. It's already off of my credit and It only took 20 days. The new buyer is completely responsible. Porsche will allow it as well.

Hang in there for a couple of weeks, you will grow more satisfied with your choice with time. I had a similar lack of contentment that was nearly insatiable. I passed up a December TT build, and it was relatively easy------I had just started building a very expensive second lake home in Austin! That project satisfied my urge to spend more money, and I am certain has substantially better investment quality.
Seriously, enjoy your car, as the TT will not fill the void completely. By the way, I love the idea of the open roof of the Targa. My goal is to get a Turbo Targa: Are you listening Porsche AG--hello.........?

Loved my Targas. Had a 993 and a 996. Seemed so open even when the top is closed. I saw the intro model at the dealer in Guards...SMOKIN'
Targa TT would be cool but I'm not sure with all the flex from the TQ in the Cab chassis your top would be secure.
