My insurance company knocks 15% off the price of insurance per year if you have etched glass. Considering how expensive insurance is...it's a no brainer for a $350 option.

I hope this helps someone as I had no idea about this...I kept hounding my agent to knock down the price of my insurance and that's when they recommended the etching...

It can be done for about $20, actually. Check with your nearby Police Department. Often it is done as part of a fund raising effort for them.
