Default Basalt Black is different on my TT

Just traded an '05 997S for an '07 997TT. Both are Basalt Black, but I swear the TT looks different. The S looked Black and the TT looks Black but with a pearl effect - like it has some white in it. Actually it looks a lot like the "Pearl Black" color on my RS4.

Yep, it's a "metallic" black, not jet black. When the sun hits it at certain angles you can see the metal flakes. I like it on mine, gives it a nice lustre.

Plus Basalt Black is the best colour to match with the standard wheels IMO

IMHO Slate Grey is a closer match.

Slate is nice too, but I just have a thing for black Porkers, always have always will
