should my first 911 be a turbo?

No idea what you're talking about cuz I'm usually too busy changing GEARS!

I think since you are new to Porsche you should have to work your way through the ranks. So first you get a Boxter. Next a Cayman. Then a 997 followed by a 997S. After the above has been done at the cost of several thousands of $$ in depreciation.....you may get a 997 turbo.
Or, you can just get a turbo which is probably what I would do

Frankly, it may be more of a daily than the C2S due to AWD, but I wouldn't hesitate to drive either every day. There is no reason to hesitate. The car is amazing. You can drive it conservatively and it is tame, smooth, etc. or get on it and all h@ll breaks loose. Really two cars in one!
Get it!
PS - The R8 sounds cool too (I have an RS4 and love it too.)

if you can afford it, i would get it. it would just cost more in the long run to start of with a regular carrera since you will ultimate upgrade to the turbo anyways. if you already have an E55, then you will definitely need the turbo right away.

First of all: can you drive? Do you like fast cars?
If you answer both questions yes, then the TT is for you. More importantly, perhaps, would be the answers to: Why SHOULDN'T I get a TT as my first Porsche?
