What's wrong is that there are not many Canadians with that kind of $$ to make such a huge investment on a luxury item.

Your comment is incorrect. demand for luxury goods are up in canada and here is supporting information:

- most canadian porsche dealers have no availability of 997tt until mid-summer
- porsche canada sales were up 17% in 2006 (compared to 2005) despite a big drop in cayenne sales
- 25% of the 657 canadian 997 cars sold were the more expensive c4s and c4s cabs which sell for 70-85% the price of a 997tt
- financial and oil markets are creating wealth. the S&P500 is at its 1/2/5 year high and the oil industry is going nuts in alberta

I'm guessing that quebec city and ottawa are slower markets for porsche compared to the other cities.

Quebec city is somewhat of a government worker city, same as Ottawa. While there is wealthy people there I don't think it's like Montreal, Calgary, Ottawa or Vancouver.

Don't get me started on the damn oil and resources craze, I get paid in USD and it's been killing me, I miss the good old days of 1.55 CAD for 1 USD
