Ken

nice color ... slate gray is one of my favorites. the break-in period sucks doesn't it? my break-in was the 5 minute drive home. after that, it's been spirited driving all the way except for cold days when the traction is poor. if you ever question break-in, ask how about the test drive of your car at the porsche factory!

btw, technically this is not your first post of your pics. i remembered the color so i looked up the post.

What a great series of shots. If they don't stir your soul you don't belong on the stud farm!

Ken,
Pictures look great, I like the Euro sidemarkers and Turbo emblem removed. I grew up in Pennsylvania, the pictures look like the Exton area. I recieved my 2007 997TT GT Silver back in November and love it. I sure miss some of those PA roads.

Thanks guys,

Max, you're pretty close. Not Exton, but West Chester. Roads are inviting sometimes, but it's hard to get the slow-pokes out of the way! BTW, GT silver was my second choice but after 17 years of silver, I was ready for a change. Enjoy yours in good health.

Golf Guy,

The break-in does suck. I TRIED to keep it under 4200 but she did see 5000 and 6000 a few times. As someone else said, keeping it under 4200 at all times requires a Catholic school education. I went to public schools. At WOT, 4200 comes up pretty quick so it's not hard to go a little beyond

The 930 (sniffle, sniffle) is gone. The wife said "Only one Porsche!" so a lucky fella in IL drives it now.

put some winter tires on your new baby-the traction will be just fine on those cold days.

Max,

I make my living by cutting people open and removing bad parts. Really, just a mechanic if you think about it.
