just wait until the weather gets worse ... and try walking by it every morning to your other car. your baby will be begging you to take her out for a spin.

get winter tires and rims if you don't want to go through this agony when it's frosty or snowing.

Yeah I hear you...Doc made the same recommendation...thankfully the weather has been pretty docile here in NJ so far...I will tough it out then get snows next year...problem is that the Bimmer is AWFUL in snow...hmmmm...well let's get the car first and then I can always pick up some rubber if I need it.

That's exactly what I did with mine. I asked my salesperson to notify me the instant the truck came by. He did that and I was able to get there before they unloaded mine. It was worth it!

The first thing I saw when I drove up.

Easy as she goes

I finally located a blk/blk 997 Turbo with a manual on the ground at sticker. I just made the deal happen after waiting for seven months for a January allocation and a February delivery. I changed my mind at the last minute from a tip to a manual and my dealer couldn't accommodate the change and wouldn't be able to give me a new allocation until summer time. It took me one week and at least 50 emails to different dealerships all around the country to locate a manual. Now, I have to wait approximately 10 days for delivery.

Thanks docjackson1, I really didn't think I was going to find a car exactly the way I wanted. I was persistent and it paid off.
