I am not trolling and I don't want to start a flame war, just a friendly inquiry.

My brother is coming from Connecticut today and while he was driving
towards the airport on hwy 84 he witnessed a yellow 997TT being smoked by a
white 944T, I imagine that's special tool and his 2500lbs 550rwhp 951,
I just want to know if the guy in the 977TT is a rennlist member. I emailed
Special Tool but I haven't gotten a response yet.

If you trick out any car enough it will smoke any other car. I just put a Stillen supercharger in my Nissan Titan which cranks out 450HP and recently smoked CL55 in it. The look on the guys face as I passed him was priceless. He gave me the finger when I told him at the light that he just got smoked by a truck. He had a pretty blonde with him, I guess he was embarrassed

I don't buy a supercharged titan smoking a CL55. You are telling me a supercharged titan is trapping 110+?

According to stillens own site the supercharged truck runs a mid 14 @ 95, you aren't smoking anything, especially not a CL55.

I 'm sure it was one of the earlier ones.I think they only had like 350HP or something. I own a CLS55 and I doubt my Titan will take it.

I was only trying to make a point about the fact that some guy in a trick 944Turbo beat a 997Turbo. I used to own a 944Turbo, and although it was a great car, it would not even come close to smoking a 930Turbo let alone a 997Turbo. So the point I was trying to make was this; you can trick any car out and smoke anything on the road. Hence, no one would have ever thought a Titan would or could smoke a CL55. I was just as surprised as the guy driving the Merc. I know guys who have 914's which only weigh 1900lbs and drop 600HP V8's in them. I'm sure they will smoke a 997TT as well. Why is everyone getting so angry about it.

i was in danbury porsche on thursday and there was a brand new yellow 997 tt ready to get picked up...so maybe it was being driven by somebody at the dealership who wasn't going to race anything.
the dealership is basically on the corner of the airport
