Default My new twin and test car

Well here she is. The replacement for my 800HP steed. Very little is the same. Mostly the color. It hits the dynos in the morning for some baselines and the mods and testing to start next week. I know I am a little late since I got her last Thurs, better late then never!

Very nice. I guess the race is on to see who will be first to get this motor to open up.
Look forward to your progress.

Default How 800 HP?

PorschePhD, I'm new to the Porsche world. How did you get 800 HP out of the 996? Or any Porsche? That's lots of HP from a small engine. Ths

Vincy,

You obviously don't know Stephen Kaspar, Doctor of Porsche horsepower. That's ok, just hang around the boards a while and you will see what he does with these cars.

Having had a really nice 930 rebuild from Stephen, I will be interested in what he can come up with for the new Turbo. I may want to tweak my new car after I've become bored with the stock performance. First, however, I have to get the darn thing delivered. By the time I'm ready to upgrade my 997TT I'm sure PorschePhD will have something up his sleeve.

Stephen:
I just read the article in the latest ML&E about your 996TT and 997S modified cars (691 and 530 hp respectively for those of you wondering). Sweeeet.
Good luck with new new TT mods.

That's some nice workshop! The car is nice too Seriously though that colour is fantastic, great choice Stephen. Congrats.

Can you please PM your asking price and details for the '76 911 S or post a link if it is advertised somewhere? Thanks

Sorry for the late responses. I went out of town for a couple of days. I plan on opening the motor up real fast. I am more interested in what is in there more than anything and to prep it for the road ahead. Might was well void the warranty right now

Jean, thanks. That is about a 1/4 of the shop you see in the picture. I will email details on the 76. That is Roxy's old car.

The biggest envy is not the car; I will wait for the S and a good auto transmission so my wife can enjoy the car too.

It is that you do not care about the warranty and can adjust the car to your liking. I got tremendous pleasure from modifying muscle cars years ago.

You have the satisfaction of being on the cutting edge and having fun doing it.

Good luck. Have fun.
