It's definitely a complete package, from top to bottom! Thanks for the kind words!

Thanks! I appreciate it. Typically, this interior wouldn't be my first choice, but it really flows well with the car!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am putting my Turbo S up for sale. I had the opportunity to buy a very rare car and couldn't pass it up. Unfortunately, I don't have the garage space for all of the cars and the Porsche is the only one I'm willing to part with. It's been short lived, but an amazing, unique car. If anyone is interested, it's listed for sale here: https://fortlauderdale-south.ebizaut...xbs766911.html

I notice the wheels have been changed. What was the motivation for that? Just curious, as we were just talking about black rims with the yellow outer rim on a black 997 the other day...

Wait a minute... you can't post that this car is for sale without any asking price!!! WHAT IS THE ASKING PRICE, PLEASE!!! It's a very slow news day round here. Inquiring minds want to know. This has to be the most over the top 997.2 most of us have ever seen. Wild is an understatement. What the heck are you getting now? GOTS TO KNOW MAN!!!!

I actually purchased the car with the wheels that are on it now. The current setup is incredible. It's the R101 style wheel by HRE, which is the lightest weight series they offer. They look incredible as well.

It's a very unique car. The asking price is not in the realm of any other 997.2, but if you want the craziest Turbo S on the streets, this is it! I'm asking 275k for the car, but would be willing to give someone on the forums a bit of a better deal if there was interest (have to take care of my Rennlist family).

Yes, I had a feeling that question was going to arise. What could possibly replace this Turbo S? The answer is a heavily modified SLS Black Series.

WOW! $275k? Cool, that is awesome. I hope you get it. It's either your car or a brand new 911 Turbo S specced out with literally every single option including the leather luggage. I will think about it.

So this is what a SLS Black Series would be priced at? $414 to 440K? Damn, so nice. I love this car.

I saw some SLS's when I was in Austin at the Circuit of the America track 2 years ago (below pic) for the day driving 9 different AMG Cars. They are totally bad a$$.

That's correct. It will take a particular buyer who is looking for something crazy like this 997.2.

The SLS Black Series is something I have always wanted. I found one that was the right color combo and had every RENNtech upgrade imaginable along with a gorgeous set of HRE wheels. Here is a picture of mine.

I’m a big Porsche fun and builds like this is just a testament of what an amazing machines these 911’s really are. Remember that Mr Ferdinand Porsche conceptualized the 356 because there was nothing out there he liked, so following in his spirit, is the reason we all enjoy our cars in whichever form Stock or Modified. So there shouldn’t be any reason to criticize and let’s just love these machines. I do however have a question, how justifiable is changing the motor to a 4.0L and then not keeping the car, will you see a return on that investment?

regards to all

Thanks for the kind words. You'll have to ask the previous owner who built the car. I'm just the guy who bought it after it was done and got to enjoy the unique characteristics that this car holds. I can tell you he probably didn't see a great return considering I know he spent hundreds of thousands building the car to be exactly what he wanted from aesthetics to the engine.
