We're between 40-60°F over winter, 70-80°F over summer.

Don't know of any testing facilities here in NZ so have to play it by ear.

Were you able to diagnose the problem? I’m also having a similar noise. It’s driving me crazy. It started soon after the oil change, spark plug, coils, etc. I was using Mobil 1 0W40 and I went with Liquid Molly 5W40. The car seems to run okay and no codes on DME. It has 68k miles. Also, the black-stone lab results came back perfect. See video attached. Okay Thank you guys.

My 2008 TT (30k miles) is dead quiet and my 2007 GT3 (20k miles) makes a helluva racket. Dealer says both are 100%. Running Motul 8100 X-max (0W40) per Porsche main dealer recommendation. Unless anything changes off baseline I'm inclined to leave things be.

Yes, my 997 GT3 also makes some noise, specially with the LWFW. I’m just trying to figure out the noise in my 997 Turbo.
