Default Porsche heaven this past Sunday... 90 cars, 50%+ Porsches on 85 mi drive

Best day ever! Here's the scoop on the day - and the pics I took are below. So much fun and great people to talk to.

""The RDS Automotive Group proudly presents our

10th Annual Road Rally on Sunday, June 2nd 2019.




We welcome you and your family to join us as we celebrate our 10th Annual RDS Road Rally on June 2nd. Gather your team, grab your keys and hit the road exploring 80+ miles of scenic back roads while competing in a series of challenging route and trivia questions for prizes.


A light breakfast with refreshments will be served during check-in to hold you over until our delicious post-rally brunch at an undisclosed ending location featuring entertainment by The Elegance String Quartet. Spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis with a cap of 90 vehicles. Full payment must be submitted to secure your spot. Please note, each team must have at least a driver and navigator to participate.

DATE & START POINT | Sunday, June 2nd, 2019
The Studio at RDS: 112 Willowbrook Lane, West Chester, PA


Includes one vehicle spot in rally, light breakfast, post-rally brunch and welcome bag containing commemorative t-shirt.


REGISTRATION INFO |Please have your driver and navigator info ready before registering. Once registered, you will be invoiced from our Square Reader account for pre-payment. Your space is not reserved until payment is received. Please pay this invoice within 24 hours of receipt to secure your spot.


DAY OF RALLY INFO | Check-in opens at 8 am on Sunday, June 2nd and the rally will commence promptly at 9 am. The route typically takes 2 - 2.5 hours to drive, and once you get to the rally destination, you are free to move at your own pace for brunch."

Hi, it was good to meet you there (I am the guy with the green car in the first pic). I ended up driving solo which resulted in a couple detours that added 20 miles to the route.

Next year we should figure out all the RL people.

Great meeting you on Sunday as well! That was... the best day ever. I did more research on the GT3 Touring when I got home. Really interesting, stealthy little car. Most people on this planet would have no idea what it actually was.

I guess it was... my buddy found out about it 2 years ago since he bought his car from them (Main Line Porsche I think it was or RDS, I'm not sure), and he invited me to join them from the invite that he got. I got the invite again this year since I went last year.

Porsche of the Main Line is part of the RDS group. I went up there last year and they invited me to a Porsche experience event at NJMP - lots of fun. Perhaps post details for next year's rally and we could get a Rennlist group together.
