Default Question on Frozen Rotors?

Has anybody tried these? I track my car and my PFC pads are pretty harsh on the stock rotors. Even after a few track days, already developing blue hot spots. Trying to look for a better rotor option, let me know your thoughts. Their website is frozenrotors.com

Are you running drilled or slotted rotors. Guessing you are running drilled. Chancing to sebro slotted eith help that alot. Also made change to gt2 fromt ducts.

Yeah. Currently have the drilled ones. Definitely want to go slotted next time. I'll check out GT2 front ducts as well.

Ya unless tracking constantly, sebro slotted rotors are really your best bet. Drilled rotors crack easier as well as got spot and wave pads. Slotted is what you want if you are tracking your car.

How different/more effective are the GT2 ducts? Are you running front and rear?

The gt2 is quite a bit larger that the tt or gt3 duct. Im still running gt3 ducts on my car but may switch. Thing is the cost of the gt2 ducts is like 300 bucks vs gt2 ducts are 7 lol.

Yeah. I just saw that. I may start with the GT3 ones and see how that works. From what I've read the GT2 ones might also require some custom cutting into the wheel well plastic.

Honeslty unless you are tracking the car 90+% of the time, slotted rotors, track pads, high temp fluid, and gt3 front ducts are all you'll ever need to keep temps in check.
Your biggest problem is the drilled rotors. Changing to slotted is a huge help.

Thanks for advice. Which rotors do you prefer?

Sebro slotted is what I typically run and suggest all my customers run. Best bang for the buck and last a long time.

Awesome, thanks! I'm going to finish out these rotors/pads at my next event and then swap over.

Thanks. Are you running rear GT3 ducts as well? I've cooked my tears at the track , calipers are now purple!

Typically frying the rear brakes is due to guys running with psm on on track and the TC fries the rears. If that's not the cause then you may need to add the gt3 rear rear ducts for more cooling. They are kinda fragile though. I planned on making some more sturdy ones out of alum in the future but have not got to it yet.
