2009 production numbers ?

He did. In the thread title and entire original post. I didn’t look at them but the spreads probably aren’t exclusive to ‘09s and probably only include private party or third party sale prices. Not to mention I don’t believe auctions give a true sense of full private party value, it’s just current value to a small audience on a particular day. Just my .02

I'll chime in with my experience.
I specifically wanted a 09' for the .2 updates, low production numbers, last manual Mezger Turbo (not counting the GT2's)
I also wanted a Carerra White car which limited me to only 10 examples being built for the US...
I was will to pay more then a 07-08 if the car was what I wanted.
I ended up with 1 of 3 Turbo, 6spd, Coupes in Carerra White on Carerra Red interior cars that Porsche built for 2009.
I paid $85k for the car which has 46k miles, a clean PPI, mods, BBS Forged wheels and more, all of which I felt were included for free since most mods dont net a ROI, but I wasn't going to leave the car bone stock so it was a win for me...
Additionally the car carried a Fidelity warranty well beyond what concerned me, again another plus...

hit the nail.
I agree with this man. He knew exactly what he was looking for. Yes the miles are not sub20k. But got the exact specs including 09 TT with clean PPI,
I think 85k is actually a decent deal. I think 80k would have been an amazing deal, but 85k is solid.
Time will tell, but Mezger engine is not coming back and these will rise in value as long as they are well sorted and cared for. Even if they add mileage, I believe
they will hold tremendous value in the next 10 years. Hold and don't look back.

997.2 TTs
997.2 TT are nuts. Mid-level dealers buying them before they get on market and flipping them for 15-20k higher. Sucks for the enthusiast trying to get in the game for sure. Keep looking and let the mid level guys sit with these high prices. Eventually they have to let them come down a notch or 2.

I searched for years for the “right” 2009 and none were good enough for me. By the time I started looking at clean 07 and 08 cars I ended up paying more than what I would of paid 2-3 years ago..... Good cars are out there but getting hard to find and actual owners / enthusiasts who have them now won’t be giving them away anytime. I won’t let go of my 07 for less than $90K.
Act qucik and and don’t expect a “deal” if you are looking for a 997.2 manual car.

At this point, have to agree. Buy and hold any manual TTs 07-12. In 10 year time, we should see where they end up. I think owning a clean 07-09 will retain and increase for sure.
10-12s are super pricey but even they will increase in price from this point onwards.
If you don't need the dough, hold until it rides high (looking at 993).

There's 2013 silver/brown TT cab 6MT on ebay now for $155K. And yes, a manual was still available in 2013. It seems to me there were only 3 produced but I could be wrong.

Yes, they made very few 2013s with MT, but they're out there. I don't see that car listed on ebay. I see a black/black one for $155. That's a space cadet price, especially for a black cab.

Good catch, you're right, it's the 2013 black/black for $155K. I probably confused it with another (2011?) TT with a 6MT. At any rate it's still a very high price for a 2013 TT but I'm sure there's a collector/buyer out there who won't think twice about purchasing it. Too bad I'm not in that category. One can always hope and dream though.
