Default RSS vs Tarett rear the end links

Is there any major difference between the RSS and Tarett rear end control links? I see that the Tarett come with rod end boots to seal out dirt / moisture. The Tarett also come with a locking plate. I don't plan on making many changes as my driving is spirited back roads and one or two track days a year. Lowering the car with GMG springs so I was to ensure the geometry is setup properly and to help prevent bump steering as well as tire wear.

So I'm guessing there is no difference? Does the RSS need a locking plate?

Default Toe Links, Lock Out Plates and Dust Boots

Hi Vital Signs,

The RSS Lock Out Plates and Dust Boots are optional. That said we generally recommend the #333 Lock Out Plate Kit which replaces the factory eccentric bolt assembly, thereby eliminating a redundant toe adjustment point and the risk of it moving/shifting over pot holes, during aggressive driving or under track conditions. We think of it as "Alignment Insurance."

The Lock Out Plate secures the inboard mounting point of Toe Arm allowing all adjustment to occur by lengthening or shorting the toe link.

With respect to the dust boots, we recommend them if you are driving the car in harsh weather environments i.e. salted winter roads or in applications where visual bearing inspection is not a high priority.

Feel free to email or give us a call to discuss your particular application.
