Default ground clearance on stock 997.1 TT?

Anyone know the ground clearance of the 997.1 TT ride? stock car without springs, etc.

I have a slight incline in the driveway and wanted to get an idea of clearance. Seems the average car out there has at least 5" clearance.

Thanks in advance.

Default Thanks.

Appreciate it. Do you find you have problems with entering slight slopes in inclines and declines and hitting the bottom lip of the car or worried about it? Is it just par for the course that the bottom lip will get rubbed?

Par for the course, we all go in at an angle. Helps, but sometimes you scrape. I have bought one new lip in 11 years.

It’s going to rub here and there, like everyone else I enter at an angle. The lips are not expensive so it’s not an issue

I scrape every time I pull out of my driveway, doesn't matter the angle.

agreed!! It’s kills me too bro... I
also just replaced mine a few weeks ago and although the price of the lip isn’t bad after you add in the cost of painting mine it’s not a pleasant sound!

Sucks indeed. You can tell as the lip slowly starts to warp. Whatever. That’s probably why it wasn’t painted and plastic. I park then walk by sporty 991 models and think life ain’t so bad after all.

I finally stopped replacing them. If I get a little "rubber hair", I take a razor blade and trim it off.

As said in previous replies, approach driveways and dips at an angle whenever possible. The front lips are considered consumable items and very easy to replace. I did mine a few months ago in 20 minutes and have a spare hanging in the garage for future use. Only other tip I can give is to be aware when parking in spots with a raised sidewalk in front of you. It's easy to underestimate the length of the front end and wind up with your lip sitting on top of the sidewalk....ask me how I know

I made a few clips. This is stock suspension and my driveway, have since lowered about an inch and can make it without scrapping.

It happens elsewhere from time to time though, just be happy it's plastic.

I'm on stock springs and I pull into my driveway at an angle and still scrape 50% of the time. I've worn through the edge on the sides in about a year. EBAY front lip, here I come...
