Washing Rear Spoiller

Washing Rear Spoiller
When washing the rear spoiler do you have the upper part in the up position? And if so, does one have to be concerned about getting water in the spoiler actuators that moves the upper part up or down?
I have ave been washing the rear spoiler in the down position, but later move it to the up position to clean the top of the bottom portion and the bottom of the top portion with a wet microfiber. Or can I wet it down in the up position to clean and have no issues?

I always raised the rear wing while washing my 997. I do the same with my 991. No issues.

These cars were manufactured to withstand all kinds of conditions, rain included. No kidding!

Wash as normal. You just don't want a high concentration of soak/water going down the cylinders. The dried alkaline is hard on the rubber seals.
