Not all X pipes are restrictive. I have the Speedtech catted 3” and it makes big power. I got a custom tune to go with it from Kevin. It was one of the few exhausts he recommended (along with the Europipe). The 3” with no mufflers is the one I have and it isn’t for everyone it’s damn loud but sounds so exotic.

I ran a 14.9 in the 1/4 when I had my X type exhaust (brand not mentioned). Plus track rules prohibited dangling parts hanging from the rear of the car. Safety guy said “ remove that and toss it in that pile in the back”.
