^ Clearly not Porsche parts for that price, but did you mostly go OEM, or aftermarket?

Yes, that's correct. I went with a mix based on what I felt was a good deal. Went OEM for the rotors (Sebro) and hoses (ATE). Pads were posiquiet semi-metallic, although I have a new set of TRW and Pagid OEM replacements if needed.

All the suspension arms were Meyle. I liked them back when I was working on a BMW z4 and had zero issues through 20k miles. I could not reliably find any non-Porsche branded arms (which are expensive). The Meyle arms are quite good, but the ball joints are slightly inferior in quality to the Porsche arms I took off. I'm interested to see how they hold up.

Sway bar links were OEM (Lemforder), as were the tie rods (TRW). Steering rack actually says TRW on it. Rear shock mounts were the only Porsche branded item I got because I couldn't find any other good options. These were 300 for the pair shipped.

The monster is alive.

I had an issue with the front diff - the threads on the diff drain holes were stripped (not the bolts... the actual drain threads) and it was leaking onto the ground at full operating temp. I used magnetic LN engineering drain bolts which are longer than OEM and I was able to torque them to the proper amount as the OEM bolts just kept spinning. Hopefully this keeps it dry, otherwise I will have to go through the unpleasant exercise of rethreading the front diff... fml don't even want to think about that.

Anyway, got it up the rack today, had her aligned and she's good to go. This thing is such a monster and makes incredible noise with the Fabspeed intake, FVD exhaust, and tune. I love the stance with the techart springs, and it drives really well on the brand new suspension. Well worth the money/time.

I just took it to NTB close by as I have a connection there. I was able to watch the mechanic align it and also had him evaluate my handiwork while it was on the rack. I had it aligned to factory specs. I will get new tires next month so I will ask to minimize camber to maximize tire life at that time.

Camber won't kill tyres, excessive toe will. I recommend going a little more aggressive thank factory if you enjoy pushing on B roads. If you're just highway cruising factory is fine.

Got it. Thanks for clarifying. Just highway cruising (unfortunately). Not many twisty roads here in Texas.

Thank you! I hope that it's helpful to some other people who like to tinker/DIY.

I'm preparing to replace the rear axles - hopefully sometime this coming week.
