EVOMS ECU Flashing
Hello all, I am a proud owner of a 2011 997.2 TT that I recently purchased on Oct of 2018. It has been a blast to drive and I have put on 4K miles in 4 months. Yes, I bought it to drive it :P. I want to get the EVOMS ECU 602 flash kit. Has anyone used one of these? They are offering it for $1800.00. I just was wondering if anyone had any experiences with their products Thank you.

I have an 08 TT with an EVOMs 580/600 tune. It was done before they had their handheld device. I’ve thought about upgrading to the handheld so I can change it back and forth from stock but haven’t done so yet.
As far as the tune goes it’s fantasric. Strong early tongue pull that goes all the way to redline. I believe they increase the rev limiter on them but I never take it up there so not 100% sure.
Cant say how they compare to custom tuners Sam and Kevin on here or the off the shelf Cobb.
But any of the tunes is much better then stock.

I have the EVOMS Flash from Sharkwerks on my '12 TTS. I had their older flash for a couple years and was recently upgraded to their new handheld device. Easy way I explain it to people is it feels like sports mode at the start. Feels a lot quicker.

I'd go with someone who can give you a custom tune, this way you have long term support in case you add other modifications. It's not that hard as they will give you a good baseline, then log some runs and then they can custom tune to your cars specific behavior. Big support if Sam Ahdoot with By Design who does mine. I think we are at version 10 or 11 by now over a year.

I have the EVOMS 580/600 and Todd installed it himself at a shop in Houston back in 2011 I believe. It was nice as I didn't have to send the ECU in and got to watch the master at work. It does raise the redline and I had the choice to keep the sport button functionality or have it sport all the time. I chose the option to keep sport button functionality. It has performed flawlessly and makes the car really quick. Since it's not a piggyback tune it's seamless to the systems.

I haven’t seen specific dyno’s from the end purchaser. But all the tuners are getting similar numbers with a tune and exhaust. So I’d be willing to bet they are pretty close to their estimate. Wheel horsepower will be less of course. It is a VERY noticeable different from stock.
