This has been like a riveting book that 3/4 of the way through just ends.,,,
God speed TJ!!!

As requested, an update. I ended up selling the car (at a major loss) to the guy who dropped by and helped me diagnose the issues. I regret it every so often, but my savings account is definitely thanking me.

Dang. Sorry to hear.

Hope that it doesn't ruin Porsche ownership for you... you have the right mindset and the right tools. Good luck with future automotive endeavors!

Did you ever settle with the dealership? What were the ultimate issues with the car?

Sorry to hear that man, it sucks. Did the other parties come to the table at all, or did you end up eating all the cost? I'd be pretty ****ing angry after all you went through.

I'm going to assume by the OP's update that he'll probably not discuss anything further about what he received or didn't. I totally respect his decision either way.

Sorry it had to go that way for you man. Tough to hear, much less go through.

Keep ya head up.

Dude! Sorry to hear you took a hit on it and dumped it man, such a bummer. I’m sure you are sour on the brand now too?!!
As far along as you were with the lift I was sure you would drop the motor and rebuild.
Wish you the best man, good luck!

This is one of the most incredible sagas I've ever read on RL. Sorry OP that this was your first experience with Porsche. Does anyone else think this car had a junkyard motor swapped in? I mean, how else do you explain so many missing brackets and fasteners unless a replacement motor with all the missing pieces was put in this car.
